I have always said that I wouldn't know what to do if I had a girl. Well, I've figured it out. Having a girl is a great excuse to get crafty! I have made a few things for my little princess including paintings for her room, hair bows and flowers, blankets, and a curtain. Now, I can add a dress to the list.
I found a cute pattern for a pillowcase dress that looked super simple on pinterest. The directions for this dress are super simple to follow. The only down fall, I used her 12 month pattern and the dress came out WAY too big for my skinny little girl. It is the perfect length, but is too wide for her. Hopefully she'll fit into it next spring.

I love the colors you used! So so cute. I had a skinny little boy, so I know where you are coming from! If you like, you could sew up the side a little starting under the arm and angle out towards the bottom, giving it a bit more of an A-line cut.
